Thanks to our learning platform GOSTELO, private lessons are modernized by the new technologies. With the ambition to become the reference in terms of digital learning, we offer high quality learning courses. Our concept unites three main stakeholders and roles: the teacher (who helps others to acquire a knowledge or competence), the student (who attends private lesson sessions and devotes time to do whatever activities the teacher assigns to submit evidence of progress) and the viewer (who attends a student’s session as a simple spectator). Student role

The student is the one who is actively studying with the teacher. Lessons are organized and prepared by the teacher based on the learning objectives defined by the student and are adapted for any level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)…

The standard cost for attending a private lesson as a student is set as 25€ per hour. The student can reduce this standard fee and get even free private lessons by means of our referral/affiliation program for students.

Viewer role

The viewer is allowed to attend a private lesson as a simple spectator. During the session, no interaction is possible with the teacher or the other participants.

With this role, the viewer is able to see all the session materials, listen all the open questions from the student and answers from the teacher, do the exercises at the same time as the student thanks to the learning platform…

The cost of attending a private lesson as a viewer is very limited and fixed (2€ per hour) allowing people who cannot afford private lessons to have a chance of attending somebody else’s session and learn.

Discover our learning platform GOSTELO

After creating a new account, you will get access to our learning platform. You will find all necessary information related to your lesson and all preliminary documents you will need to prepare yourself prior to the session. This platform will also be used to inform you about your homeworks. From time to time, online tests will be organized in order to evaluate your level and progress. In general, the teachers manage the content and learning materials shared on the platform but you will also have the opportunity to submit your own documents if needed and required as part of your homeworks.

Interactive Whiteboard

The teacher can write on the whiteboard during the lesson, share its screen, presentation to all the participants but can also grant a participant to share its screen and/or annotate the whiteboard. This feature is very usefull to interact with the student like in a real classroom.

HD video & audio

Thanks to Google Hangout and/or Skype technology, the live broadcast with high definition video and audio is ensured and allows participants to meet virtually as if they were face-to-face.

Quiz & Polls

The teacher can launch a poll during the learning session and gather the responses from the participants. This feature can be used as a test to evaluate the level of participants or get feedbacks for further improvements.

Documents Sharing

Sharing documents, exercises, homeworks or any materials is possible and very useful from a learning perspective. All standard presentation/document types are supported (.docx, .doc, .pdf, .jpg, .pptx, .ppt, …) as long as the teacher can open and read them in his/her computer.

Worldwide connection

Joining a learning session is easy and is possible from anywhere through web, PC and mobile apps. The access from most of devices and platform allows students and viewers to attend a lesson even while traveling, in vacation, in public transports, etc…

Messages & Chat

In case of any questions, the participants can easily send public and private messages. This chat messaging system allows the speaker to be closer to all participants and to provide them with specific help.

Security of payments

All payments are processed using reliable and secured payment providers such as Stripe (allowing Visa, MasterCard, AmericanExpress). Stripe is certified to the highest industry standards and has obtained regulatory licenses around the world (e.g PCI DSS Level 1 certification, PSD2 and Secure Customer Authentication compliant…).

Referral programs

Deals are proposed for both students (to decrease their registration fees) and teachers (to increase their remuneration) in order to attract them and maintain their interest for our platform. All the details related to those deals are described in their role profile.
