This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are and governs the manner in which GOBAKO Learning Center (hereafter also referred to as ‘GOBAKO’, ‘We’) and any Third-Party use and store cookies on the User’s (hereafter also referred to as the ‘Particpant’, ‘Student’, ‘Viewer’, ‘You’) computer while visiting https://gobako.com website and https://gobakoacademy.com learning platform (hereafter also referred to as the ‘Websites’).

This Cookie Policy must be read in conjunction with the Privacy Policy Notice, which sets out additional details on your rights and applies to the Websites and all services offered by GOBAKO.

Article 1. Introduction and definitions

1.1 What are cookies? A cookie is a small simple file that is sent along with pages of our Websites and stored by your browser on the hard drive of the device you use to access our Websites or our learning Platform GOSTELO (e.g. your computer, smartphone, tablet or another device). The information stored therein may be returned to our servers or to the servers of the relevant third parties during a subsequent visit. 1.2 What are scripts? A script is a piece of programme code that is used to make our Websites function properly and interactively. This code is executed on our servers or your device.

1.3 What is a web beacon? A web beacon (or a pixel tag) is a small, invisible piece of text or image on a website that is used to monitor traffic on a website. We don’t use such objects on any page of our Websites.

Article 2 : Type of Cookies

2.1 Strictly Necessary cookies (Technical/functional) – Those cookies are placed to ensure that our website delivers you information and services securely and optimally and they cannot be deactivated. They are used to authenticate you and offer basic Site features (for example, you do not need to repeatedly enter the same information when visiting our Websites and the learning course items remain in your shopping cart until payment is completed).

2.2 Third party cookies (Analytics) – We use analytical cookies Google Analytics to get anonymous insights in the usage of our Website such as counting the number of visitors, how frequent an error page appears,… You can disable those cookies in your Cookie Settings preferences or block them directly in your internet browser.

2.3 Other cookies (Advertising) – We do not use any advertising cookies and do not use social media buttons to promote web pages or share them on social networks.

Third Party Cookies (Analytical)
Google Analytics is a simple, easy-to-use tool that helps us measure how users interact with our website content. As a user navigates between web pages, Google Analytics provides us JavaScript tags (libraries) to record information about the page a user has seen, for example the URL of the page. The Google Analytics JavaScript libraries use HTTP Cookies to “remember” what a user has done on previous pages / interactions with our website.

Article 4 : Consent

4.1 When you visit our Websites for the first time, a pop-up with an explanation about cookies and a request to consent to them will be shown. As soon as you click on the “Confirm” button, you give immediate consent to GOBAKO Learning Center to use and place all cookies and plug-ins as set in your current Cookie Settings. You can always disable the use of cookies via your internet browser settings even after having given your consent to us, but this is not recommended as our Websites may no longer work properly.

Article 5 : Enabling/disabling and deleting cookies

5.1 You can, at anytime, enable, disable or delete cookies placed by us our one of our Third Party. If you don’t want any cookie to be placed, you should use your internet browser to automatically or manually delete cookies. You can also specify that certain cookies may or may not be placed.
